NCAA Top 50 Volleyball Players To Watch In 2024
This was one of the hardest lists I’ve ever had to make but here are the top 50 NCAA D1 Volleyball Players to watch in 2024! Be sure to comment below your thoughts, and thank you for being a paid subscriber.
50. Alexis Stucky - Florida
Although she’s at #50 on my list, she could very well be on the top once the season is over. It’s still up in the air as to whether she will be 100% healthy by August after suffering a season-ending ACL injury back in September 2023. But I also couldn’t not have her on this list. She won SEC Freshman of the Year in 2022!
49. Brooklyn DeLeye - Kentucky
Speaking of SEC Freshmen of the Year, Brooklyn DeLeye won in 2023. She was dominant, especially during conference play, and I cannot wait to see her development into her sophomore year.
48. Jalyn Stout - Coastal Carolina
No one in NCAA Volleyball history has more triple-doubles than Jalyn Stout earned last season. And she was a FRESHMAN! It’ll be interesting to see if she will continue her role as a setter and rightside next season, run a 5-1 offense, or strictly become a powerhouse hitter for the Chanticleers.
47. Ella Wrobel - Ohio State
Ella Wrobel has been behind some incredible outside hitters at Wisconsin, but I’ve always known that she has potential. We’ll see if she becomes a pivotal player for the Buckeyes this season.
46. Ava Martin - Creighton
Ava’s development from her freshman year to sophomore year has been insane. I think a lot of this had to do with stepping up to the occasion with Norah Sis being injured for a chunk of last season. She is definitely a player that professional scouts need to keep an eye on as she continues to grow in her game.
45. Bre Kelley - Pitt
Bre Kelley is in a similar situation as Alexis Stucky with an injury early last season. And the fact that Pitt made the final four without her just goes to show how talented this team really is. Prepare for multiple ACC accolades as she makes a comeback in 2024.
